Here are some items we have available. Selection changes daily! Hand knit scarves, hats, wrist warmers, shawls and accessories. Many are made with handspun yarn in wool, alpaca, silk, mohair and other interesting fibers. I hand clean, dye and spin the fibers personally in my home studio and bring my wheel to market on Saturdays for live spinning demonstrations.

Hand crafted jewelry and home décor.

Hand-dyed yarns for knitting or crocheting.

Hand felted, sewn and beaded dolls.

Cat toys.

I also offer classes in needle felting

While you are there, check out the other vendors at the market. I am located between Mr. Taco and Myers Salads. Market is a wonderful place to have breakfast or lunch with an enormous variety of choices for sushi to subs to salads, soups and more! Pick up some fresh produce and organic items from local farmers to help support our neighbors. Take home so fresh meat, poultry or seafood. Check out the antiques and other giftware items, too. Don’t forget to really, really look around at this absolutely amazing and beautiful historic building!

On Beaver Street, you’ll find several of my friends who also own small and wonderful businesses!

Please visit my favorite handmade soap shop, The Sunrise Soap Company. Her all-natural, high quality handmade soaps, lotions, lip balms, body butters, sprays, scrubs, masks and more make fabulous and affordable gifts for yourself or friends and family.

Sweet Melissa’s Dream is filled with interesting teas, handcrafted and recycled goodies and so much more! Melissa crafts quite a few of the items herself and showcases work from several local artists as well. Selections include colorful socks, coin purses, hand-felted bags, cards, hand knit & crocheted items, ornaments and so on.

Kimman’s is a lovely gift shop on the corner of Beaver and Philadelphia. You’ll find sterling jewelry, holiday décor, housewares, market bags, etc. in their shop.

Not far down the road on the corner of Newberry and Market Street, be sure to visit the Uncommon Threads. Just a few years ago, that’s where I learned to knit and spin. Not only are they my friends, they have an amazing variety of other yarns, fiber, knitting needles, patterns and related items. Lessons are quite affordable and the inspiration is absolutely free. They are open Tuesdays from 9 until 6; Wednesdays from 3 to 8, Thursdays-Fridays & Saturdays from 9-5. Think you don’t have time to knit? You may be quite surprised at how quickly you can create your own small project. Once you catch on, knitting can be a very relaxing and calming activity and is a great way to meet and make new friends.

During the week, the most affordable way to visit downtown is to find a parking space with a meter, so bring a handful of quarters. On Saturdays, the parking garage on Philadelphia, right across the street is absolutely FREE!

Please consider a visit to downtown soon. It is a lot less hectic than the Mall and our city and the small businesses in the area need our support. There are so many treasures to be found. Bring some friends!

Hope to see you soon!
